Thanks again to those who braved the weather to come out and support King County Parks at the Big Backyard 5k. The volunteers, the sponsors, and of course the runners and walkers made this a tremendous event raising $20,000 for King County Parks.

Results are in!

Results are now official. See the overall, team, and virtual 5k results.
Age group and team awards will be mailed to those who won them. An email will go out by 6/1 with more instructions to pick up awards!
Awards can also be picked up at Super Jock N Jill beginning 6/5.

When?	May 23rd, 2010 -- Run starts at 9:00am (walk begins at 9:05am) You are not guaranteed a t-shirt if you register after May 17th! Packet pick-up begins at 6:30am day of event. Registration will be available on race day, and the cost will be $25. A limited supply of t-shirts will be available for $5 at the event, but t-shirts are not included with registration from May 17th to May 23rd. Sign up online until Saturday, 5/22 at 3pm PST. After that you can sign up at the event on Sunday.
Where?	Marymoor Park -- Redmond, WA Compete from anywhere in the world via our VIRTUAL competition! Click for directions to Marymoor Park. Check out the flat, FAST, USATF certified 5k race course. Follow signs on race day for parking.
Who?	Anyone interested in running, walking, and/or King County Parks should NOT miss this event! Why? The course is fast and USATF certified, so if you are a "hardcore" runner this race is for you! The course is ALSO very flat (thus easy), so families, seniors, power walkers, joggers, skippers, dashers, and the like can ALL enjoy the beauty of Marymoor Park while barely breaking a sweat. Compete as a team in one of four team divisions: corporate, collegiate, high school, and area run club. Click here for more details on entering as a team! Pet talent show at the MySource Talent booth. Can't run it? Volunteer your time to ensure the event is a success! This event is dog friendly!
Why?	Not that we need to give you much incentive, but by entering the event you can enjoy the following: Awesome awards for overall, age group, and VIRTUAL competitors. Food, beverages, and other goodies from local producers. A killer DJ blasting Eye of the Tiger and other 80s soundtrack classics. It's inexpensive! Participants can opt to purchase high-quality branded apparel and other event merchandise (we promise it won't end up buried deep in the closet or a landfill). MOST IMPORTANTLY, Sound Experiential is dedicated to maximizing the revenue of this event to ensure ALL proceeds benefit our amazing King County Parks!
